DO NOT do business with this place.
It would seem Joe Osmer does not have established prices for his towing service but instead makes up what ever price floats into his head. My daughter-in-law was in an auto accident and was told at the scene the tow would cost $125.00; the car was towed less than 2 miles to his shop because he wouldn't tow it to her house. When I arrived to pay the tow his employee phoned Joe to ask about the bill. I was then told it would be $175.00. When I asked about the difference I was told by his employee that Joe just tells them what he wants to charge and that is what they charge. Before going to his shop I phoned to ask what the cost would be to have the car towed to Rushville, 10 miles away from Joe's Car Care. I was told $75.00. Again, when I got there that cost was now $85.00. Of course we had to pay storage fees for the days the car was there, $35.00 per day; even for the day no one was there to unlock the gate to the fenced area the car was locked in.
Beware!!! I'd give it ZERO stars if it would let me.
This is deceptive practice. Give a price, then raise it, not just once but twice! Then charge storage for a day they couldn't get the car out.
Rushville Collision ultimately towed the car from Beardstown to Rushville for the same price they told me on the phone. Call them, Rushville Collision, if you need something towed. You'll get treated fairly by honest people.
